Home is Where the Heart Is

When you are a Certified Mompreneur means your office is in your home, that's No. 1-- the same place where you sleep, relax on the sofa and do the household works, and it  doesn't mean it can't be your office.  Your Home is where the Heart is, it's your Office too.

You have your own time to schedule your office works, making connections and so on and so forth. There are some restrictions of course, but not to many to mention, when it comes to your home office, though you have a small or large area, it has to be separated from your sleeping area, separate your office by a partition, a door or a type of barrier that your office is apart from your sleeping room. 

     Successful mompreneurs are committed to making their vision to happen.  And when you work from home, boundaries are very important, meaning when you are "AT HOME" and when you are "AVAILABLE".  This may sound sensitve, but whether it's your spouse, kids, or even your close neighbor, the better you are setting boundaries for your business and private life must be clear to them.  In this way the more focus and efficient it will be if these are being followed. I don't want to glamorize mompreneurs to much, working from home is really freeing yourself from much demands and pressures, but it can also be sad too, working solo most of your time .  My tips is don't isolate yourself, connect with other mompreneurs too-like meeting them in a cafe, phone calls or join a walk in the park.  It's your choice how  would energies your world, something you should plan on a regular basis.  

      Recently, I visited Mom Icylizious to her house and I've seen how she manage a good business at the comfort of her house.  All her products are neatly piled in one place in a box organizer.  It's amazing that friends and other mompreneurs came to see her products.  According to he,r she started with a low investment and now she's making a good profit.  "Just like these" she said.  She ordered what her friends needs.  We're all the in the same boat, while managing our household chores, at the same time, we're earning!  Remember, as Mompreneur we have all the scheduled to plan, if you don't do the right planning on a daily basis, it won't be succesful to you.  Focus and Planning are very important.
